Vortec 4.3L 90 degree V6 Engine Upgrades

This roller cam features lobe profiles similar to the famed 350 ZZ3 V8 camshaft. The exhaust lobe lift was slightly reduced to allow use of the stock 4.3L valve springs and net lash rocker arms. The L35 HO cam raises the power peak from 4400 rpm to 5600 rpm. With this product you can expect gains of at least 25 horsepower on L35/LU3 engines and as much as 40 horsepower on LF6 engines. We recommend a low-back pressure cat-back exhaust system and our L35 HO engine computer recalibration for optimum performance.

This roller cam features lobe profiles similar to the famed HOT V8 camshaft. The higher valve lifts of the L35 HOT cam require shortening the valve guide height and the use of the included L35 HOT valve springs and retainers. The L35 HOT cam raises the power peak from 4400 rpm to 5800 rpm. Expect gains of at least 35 horsepower on L35/LU3 engines and as much as 50 horsepower on LF6 engines. We recommend a low-back pressure cat-back exhaust system, higher stall torque converter, and our L35 HO engine computer recalibration for optimum performance.

The LS6RV cam was designed and developed to improve low- and mid-range torque in large trucks, while still allowing the engine to rev to 6000 rpm. The slight lope at idle with this cam prevented its use in production vehicles, but not in your truck. Matching valve springs are supplied with this kit. No modification is required to install the heads or retainers. We recommend a low-back pressure cat-back exhaust system and our LS6RV engine computer recalibration for maximum performance.

The LS7HT cam was designed and developed to improve low- and mid-range torque in the 2006 Z06 Corvette, while still allowing the engine to rev to 7000 rpm. The slight lope at idle with this cam prevented its use in production vehicles, but not in your Z06. No valvetrain modifications are required. We recommend a low-back pressure cat-back exhaust system and our LS7HT engine computer recalibration for maximum performance. |

This conversion harness allows the installation of the larger 90mm, four-bolt, Electronic Throttle Control LS2/LS7 CAR, four-bolt throttle body on 2000-02 5.3 and 6.0L engines and 2001-02 L18 8.1L engines that use a 76mm, three-bolt ETC throttle body. It is a great compliment to 2005-06 SSR and ‘07 truck 90mm inlet manifold or supercharged applications. It also facilitates installation of LS2, L67, L92, and LS7 engines in the above vehicles. NOTE: Harness not for use with truck 8-pin, 90mm throttle body. Must use passenger car LS2/LS7 90mm throttle body. |
